AASL Conference

I attended the AASL Conference in October. I blogged for that http://noodletools.com/aasl and then remember that some time ago I had set up my own blog. I couldn't find it by searching or anything. Luckily I found this today by accident. I am sorry if you have looked for anything in the past year. I will begin posting regularly and will even add a link to my library webpage. If you would like to see my Online Media Center http://www.corningareaschools.com/east/library be my guest!

Another site we have used for resources is: ReadWorks . Their stories are mostly non-fiction and align to the Common Core.

This article has just been published in American Libraries : Personal Branding for Librarians By Karen G. I am currently an Middle School Librarian. I was involuntarily transferred from the high school this year-they moved 6 out of 8 of the district's librarians. I wonder how branding would work with school librarians. This article is a very interesting read. I found it through LinkedIn, the professional site which may give it more weight.
