AASL Conference

I attended the AASL Conference in October. I blogged for that http://noodletools.com/aasl and then remember that some time ago I had set up my own blog. I couldn't find it by searching or anything. Luckily I found this today by accident. I am sorry if you have looked for anything in the past year. I will begin posting regularly and will even add a link to my library webpage. ALA Washington office now in Second Life

The Washington Office is located on Cybrary City next to several other libraries. Cybrary City is one of several islands that librarians are using in SL to provide services to the users of this community. Policies target Student-teacher cybertalk

Louisiana is trying to pass a law monitoring student/teacher communication. I don't know about you but I have my students email me papers that need to be converted, book reviews, etc. If they are doing research, I forward them article that might help. What a mess this will make! Hopefully legislators will think twice about this one.
